Sexually transmitted diseases (also known as STDs and once called venereal diseases or VD) are infectious diseases that get passed from sexual partner to sexual partner through sex. STDs affect all backgrounds and ages of girls and guys who are having sex, it doesn't matter if they're rich or poor.
